Newborn Information

In-Home Studio

I hold sessions here in my large living room, I live in Haslet, Texas. It’s about 15 minutes north of Fort Worth, Texas. Please do not book a session if you, your kids or other loved ones have had any illnesses or recent viral diagnosis. No children under 18 allowed unless either taking photos with newborn or they can accompanied by an adult at all times. This is a long process and children typically get bored after an hour. Please bring one support person in circumstances where I may need a hand with baby or the mother may need help driving if just delivered.

What do I bring to a newborn session?

1.Bottles/Breast

You will feed baby as soon as you arrive, and because babies are cluster feeding at this time, they will need to eat for comfort multiple times during the session. Bottle fed babies typically go by faster because we’re able to leave them and not have to pick them up for a couple sips. If you are breastfeeding, I did for multiple years, have donated thousands of ounces. I do not care if you whip it out in front of me. If you have any questions I am more than happy to fill your ear with all the milk talk.

2.Pacis

I will ask if you have one, if you don’t use them that is totally fine. I don’t mean to offend anyone I ask, it is just really helpful sometimes if the baby has something to quickly soothe them.

3.Diapers/wipes

Please bring more than 4, babies tend to really work out everything when they’re in studio. Haha but really, when and if they have a blowout it’s totally fine, it happens way more than you think.

4.Outfits\Props

I provide everything we need. Feel free to bring anything you’d like to use as well.

Thank you for choosing Diana Rose Photography as your newborn photographer! Here’s a few need to knows, color, and props I offer. I am still growing my collection but I have so many great options.

Throughout my experience, I’ve developed skills in newborn safety, posing, and proper lighting. My style of newborn photography is super creative, artistic, lots of colors, and capturing your baby just as they are!

As a stay at home mom my “studio” is my large living room at my residence, I do have children who live here and two dogs. The space where I do my photography is off limits to the animals so they’re always put away or outside when I have a session in place. My children will never be present for a session unless talked about beforehand. All of my props, outfits, ect, are kept in an A/C controlled storage unit 5 minutes from my home. Everything is sanitized with CleanSmart cleaner and all fabrics are washed with Arm and Hammer Baby Detergent or All Baby detergent. I need a two to three day notice to book all newborn sessions in order to secure child care for myself. The area is clean, and sanitized to look as if nobody lives here. One day I will have a studio of my own but until then I am grateful for all of the clients that give me a chance in my growing years.

Lifestyle / Bring the Studio Sessions, that take place in your home will be different so please see the newborn page of my website for more details on how to prepare.
